Brain Train by Toytemic tested at Crocus Center during “Raduga Detstva” interactive exhibition.Toytemic has conducted focus group testing for its Brain Train "works-like" prototype during Raduga Detstva (Rainbow of Childhood) Expo for family edutainments at Crocus Expo Center. Brain Train is an interactive railway and trains. User may control trains as well as railway switches and semaphores either by hand or by remote controller. While manipulating or remotely controlling a train user programs its speed, rout and motion patterns.

Next Patent granted. Near-field positioning system embodied in Interface Puppet by Toytemic patentedFederal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) of Russian Federation issued a resolution on granting a patent for application ¹ 2011126009 "Óñòðîéñòâî äëÿ èãð" (Device for Games). The Invention relates near-field positioning system developed by Toytemic. To date the system is embodied in Interface Puppet (input device for controlling a virtual character or a real robot) and series of prototypes for unbound devices able to make coordinated maneuvers.

Toytemic and Moscow City Pioneers’ Palace on Vorobievy Gory to conduct Brain Train testingToytemic has come to agreement with Moscow City Palace of Children and Youth Creativity on Vorobievy Gory (also known as Pioneers’ Palace) for all-round testing of Brain Train samples. Testing will be conducted by gaming and railway modeling sections. Toytemic will provide a set of tracks, trains and switching devices. Toytemic expects a comprehensive feedback from children and their teachers on Brain Train playability.

First patent granted, three PCT applications are being examined, 5 next applications are being prepared.Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) of Russian Federation issued a resolution on granting a patent for application No 2009108972 “Interactive wireless toy with electronic control block filed on 13.03.2009 (find at http://www1.fips.ru/wps/portal/Registers/). The invention relates to a positioning system developed by Toytemic for self-propelled robotic toys. Toytemic Inventions, LLC., a company established in 2011, actively works on forming a solid IP package for its “Srategy-on-Carpet” technology. In 2011 three PCT applications were filed. In 2012 next five applications will be filed.

2011 November 11th
TOYTEMIC Inventions granted Skolkovo resident status during the 6th solemn ceremony.Toytemic joined information technology and computer science cluster (IT-cluster). As a resident of Skolkovo http://community.sk.ru/net/1110157/ the company now has the right to apply for a grant.
According to Skolkovo Grant Policy a grant may be as big as up to $5M under condition of private co-investment of not less than 50%. Toytemic currently conducts negotiations with some private investors and funds that show serious interest in commercialization of Toytemic’s technology.

2011 October 10th.
Toytemic has won first place at Plug and Play Russian start-up projects competition.Plug and Play Tech Center, a U.S. business incubator embracing Silicon Valley technology startup companies, has launched operations in Russia and selected its first five Russian startups.
Toytemic presented its “Strategy-on-Carpet” technology and a business-plan on its commercialization.
Plug and Play's founder, President and CEO Saeed Amidi said, adding Russian startups would get a platform to develop business globally. He especially noted “Strategy-on-Carpet” as a very promising project.

Toytemic team awarded first place at Skolkovo Innovation Award competition powered by Cisco I-PRIZE.The Skolkovo Innovation Award: Powered by Cisco I-Prize was created by Cisco as part of the commitment Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers made to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev at their meeting in June 2010.
The Skolkovo Innovation Award: Powered by Cisco I-Prize received an overwhelming response. In just three months, 2,318 ideas were submitted from more than 10,000 people from hundreds of locations across Russia. Six projects had become finalists. Strategy-on-Carpet by Toytemic had won first prize.

Interface Puppet by Toytemic awarded first place at Innovative Toy competition during Toy Russia 2011 international exhibition.Toy Russia is organized by a joint company of Spielwarenmesse eG and the Russian National Toy Association RNTA.. In 2011 7023 experts visited the expo, 246 exhibitors from 13 countries presented more than 500 000 products of 12 product groups.
Interface Puppet is an input device looking like a conventional doll for controlling a virtual character. Working prototype was demonstrated at the booth of Moscow government.

“Toytemic Dancing”(«Ïëÿøóùèå ÷åëîâå÷êè») project becomes one of the winners of the contest at InCube, the business incubator of the Academy of National Economy.InCube is a business incubator at The Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. InCube was set up in 2010 as an open non-profit platform designed at providing support to starting entrepreneurs and innovative projects.
Incube was founded in 2010 by Alexey Komissarov, who is now the head of the department for science, industrial policy and entrepreneurship in the city of Moscow.
Toytemic Dancing was an early version of Interface Puppet and near-field positioning system developed by Toytemic.
